If you have no clue what something does, why not just try it? Go on, be brave. What's the worst that could happen? Well, nevermind, I'll save you the trouble. That dial adjusts the size of the time interval on the intermittent wiper setting. The top position represents the biggest time interval and the bottom position is the smallest time interval. It's useful, I guess, but I usually have mine set to the bottom position (smallest interval).

read your owner's manual.

it adjusts the interval for your wipers..

Is this a standard option? I haven't noticed mine either. I would go look but it's cold as hell outside and my car is covered in snow!

You should only use that in emergencies.
Turn it up and it sends a tactical strike team to your location.
Turn it down and it inflates the blow up doll in your passenger seat so you look 'cool'.

Well, I drove in the snow today and used the delay too keep the snow off the windshield. Funny I never noticed it even though I've only owned it a few days. I used to own an '06 VW Golf GLS which had more features then I would ever need (was fully loaded) and I felt it was just too much. The TC has alot less options but the ones it does have are the most used ones. I do miss my heated seats tho! I most love the fact it has the full auto windows. Most cars still dont have this option. Ok, here I go off topic again, SORRY
