Window Tint?

jeze - I like 20% tint on the car ... your insanely lucky FL lets you put very dark tint on your windows. NJ doesnt let you put anything on the fronts. Go to the NJ shore and they will easily write you a ticket if you have anything less then 35%

With winter coming, you have a bunch of reasons to keep your windows up. I put them up when it gets windy, cold, or if it's raining. I also have to put them up when I have passengers.
In the -great- (*Note Heavy Sarcasm*) state of Georgia, the legal limit is 32%.
But I just got mine done and I went to a nice 15% all the way around. It looks really good especially the the sun roof already at a factory 15%.
That's just my personal opinion.

I have 20% (cops measured it 18%) on my fronts and just got my first ticket 3 days ago. legal here in St. Louis is 35%. I've had 20% on every car I've ever owned and this is the first time I've ever been stopped for it. I'm just gonna pay the ticket and see if it happens again. It's only $60 so I'm not too worried about it. I wouldn't want to go any darker on my fronts though. It's a little hard to see when I'm making left hand turns on dark roads at night.
^ my past truck I did 20% on the back and rear and 35% on the front ...and it looked real nice because the back windows were small and you really couldnt tell it was darker then the front ....but having it darker in the rear was great for lights at night
i got 5% all the way around.. check your state laws.
in WV you can't get pulled over for window tint.. it's
a secondary offense so you have to be pulled over
for somthing else, then get in trouble. Also your only
alowd to have 35%.. forgett that

5% all around thats the best way to do it. i do it cause it gets hot in vegas and it looks sick. the cops are laid back about those tint laws. my friend has 3% all around and with that thing you cant even see through the windows during the daytime and still no vegas cop pulls him over even if they're right next to each other on a stop light.
I had 18% on the entire windshield and on all the windows. This was from March 2007 until about September 2007. In that 6 month period, I got so many tickets that I finally decided to change it to a lighter tint. I now have 50% on the windshield and front sides, and I kept the 18% on the rear windows. Since the change, I have had no tint tickets.
california is pretty strict with tints ..i had a light tint in my front and a cop pulled me over for them ..but then decided that i didn't have tints -.-? then got me for my exhaust *sigh
cali's the worst ...
