Windshield Washer Fluid Tank
i didnt know what section to put this in so this is pretty broad.
So its the winter and i used up all of my windshield washer fluid.
i put rain-x fluid in there and it took a GALLON and some...
just wondering if thats normal lol
cause i finished a whole gallon and was like ehhhh
so i started filling up a little more and then it was full.
nothing was leaking or anything so i was just making sure everything was ok ?

yea all the new toyotas and past years r being built with the size tank for the fluid. they said bc that way the people dont have to keep the half empty container of fluid from there store in there car and keep refilling.its just like the oil dip stick is shaped as an o, and trans fluid as a t. oh an how a toyota vehicle cant be produced unless it can fit 2 sets of golf clubs in the trunk. hehe
Yes.. they were smart enough to actually make one that holds a whole bottle. I always hated how so many cars would only take half a gallon. And when you live in MN in the winter, you loathe the ones that do, since you go through about 5 gallons of the stuff during the winter months at least.
Another reason I am sure for making them take the whole bottle is to reduce people leaving the half full bottles around the house. Believe it or not, a good number of small children have seen the colorful liquid and drank it.. dying from the toxins in it. That fact blew me away as well.
