Windshield wiper. Help me!!!
It is cold up here in Wisconsin! We had quite the snow storm yesterday. The first bad one I have had to drive my car in. I got up this morning and was driving around and noticed something funny with the windshield wipers. They aren't going down all the way to where they should be sitting. The big one is even with the line where the clear glass stops and the black part starts and the little one is floating upwards. I thought that they may have gotten off track. However, if that were the case the large wiper would go off the side of the windshield when they are running, but it stops where is should on that end.
So I went to my dealer that is a preatty small dealership in Dubuque, IA. I went with my sales guy to service and talked to one of the technicians. My old car had a winter setting for the wipers and asked him if this car had it too. He said no. Preceeding to be quite rude to me, he told me that snow my be blocking the linkage or something and that I should wait until it thaws out to see if that is the problem. But to me, that doesn't make any sense at all.
Anyone have any thoughts??????
(Especially you toyota techs that are on here!)
