Default Windshield wipers = BROKEN

Before you grill me, I did do a search on this but couldn't find anyone with my exact problem. I installed my cai a week ago. I took off the cowl and the wiper assembly and disconnected the battery to reset everything.

Now neither of my front wipers will work. Its not a fuse problem because I replaced the wiper fuse, and its not a bolt problem because I retorqued the wipers back on tight. My washer spray works but the wipers are dead.

Even RainX can't save me from the florida rainy season so I need help!

I would take it to the dealership, if it was that serious.

Why did you remove the wipers and cowl to install the intake? Check the fuse again, maybe it blew. Or it wasn't blown and you replaced it with the wrong type/rating of the fuse. Whatever the problem is, when you get it fixed let us know what it was. I'm really confused as to why the two would be related. Maybe they aren't?
Check the bolts to see if they are moving. They might have been stripped. I know sometimes if the wipers face too much resistance (in some cars) they will stop.

You have to re-program the one touch features anytime you disconnect the battery. It is in the tech section I believe at the top of the page under features.

I should have clarified...sorry. I took off the cowl and wipers to install my STRUT bar. But disconnected the Batt. to reset the ECU because I also installed my intake. I replaced the fuse exacly by the car's manual. But its possible those bolts could be on too tight.

Oh and f* the stealership. My warranty's up and I'm not leaving my car there for two days so they can charge me for labor I could do myself and overcharge me for a part I could buy for half the price.

Why would I do that when I have you guys? lol

i had the same type thing when i put in my subs, after that the passenger side window nor the sunroof would open, but i just kept pressing window down and the sunroof open button and all of a sudden they would go down and open manually but wouldnt do the auto thing, then a few minutes later they started working back to normal.. it was really weird, almost like it had to charge back up lol.

If you took off the entire wiper assembly, you most likely disconnected the harness connector going to the wiper motor. Have you check that connection?

I doubt a over torqued wiper arm bolt would cause it to be inoperative.
And the reason for the functional washer spray is because the washer pump has its own circuit going to the washer reservior. I think you left the wiper harness connector disconnected.

Look up #14, its not weird! Its programming! I think everyone should look over that site again. I forgot about it till I remembered how I learned and memorized how to reset the windows! Plus there is lots of other great information on that site.
