Default Winter Blues

Who else here has noticed that with the cold, snowy weather their tCs' brakes are squeeky and rough (if you park it outside) and the manual transmission is very hard?

Should the hard transmission worry me? It gets a lot smoother once the engine has warmed up.

It's normal. Don't worry about it.

yea I noticed it on mine, and I got scared! I took it to toyota and the guy said that with cold, rainy weather the brakes get a little rusty. He said it happens on all cars so I guess you shouldn't be worried.

you can actually see the rust on it after it rains....and for the transmission I have the same thing going in the Civic so you should be fine
