Default Worst day in my life

I wake up this morning to a loud crunch outside my house, then the sound of tires squeeling. I go outside, and this is what I found:

Some idiot came around the corner I was parked on, and slammed head first into my baby. A ****** hit and run. Worst day of my life.

Oh snap that sucks. Did any one see it go down? If there is any paint color on your car that does not match start looking for a damaged auto in your town that has that color.

I was around 30ft from the corner, but He swung out too far, overcorrected and hit my tC.

On a more positive note, if a hit and run constitutes your worst day in life - you have a pretty good life with not many bad things happening. ;)

File a police report too, sometimes insurance companies can be picky with that stuff if you dont file one.

[insert sympathy statement here]

No really, that does suck... I'm so glad I live on a dead end street. Makes it easier to park on the street without having to worry about people like that.

Did you check with your neighbors to see if there were any witnesses? That way you can at least get a description of the vehicle. From the looks of where it was hit, it's definitely a higher profile vehicle - truck, suv, etc.

Good luck and let us know if you catch the bastard. I love seeing justice being served

Sorry to hear (and see) about what happened to your TC. I agree that a police report is a good idea and also talking with your neighbors. I had a hit and run happen to my '70 Cutlass W-30 a number of years ago that bent my frame and I only found out who the culprit was after talking with my neighbors. Turned out it was someone visiting one of my neighbors. Can't hurt to ask around.
