I just did the most stupid thing ever by trying to get my car into a space that I should have passed up. I scraped the rear side of my car against a pillar in the garage at work. End result is that the area in front of my rear, driver's side wheel well is all scratched up, and pretty badly. I don't want to have this constant reminder of my stupidity...... so anyone in west LA (Mar Vista/Culver City) know how of a good body shop? It looks like there's a small dent too, but that can probably be popped out. I;ve never had to get body work on a car before, so I'm completely new to this. I'll post some pictures of the damage soon.

How can I fix it myself? It's some pretty big scrapes, maybe a square foot area of damage total...

 

Does it appear to be a surface scrape or a deep scrape? You can try to use some wax than can treat surface scrapes.

 

I think it's deep. I'll go take some pics at lunch. I have a feeling I'm looking at 1000 bucks at least. It's just not in a good area.

 

Yeah, and while you're at it you can remove your own wisdom teeth and appendix. Not everyone has autobody and paint skills.
