worst night everrrrrrrrrr...help??**updated 3-12
alright so last night i was on my way back home from work on the freeway and i was just minding my own business on the 4th lane. then a white mazda entered the freeway going extremly fast on the fifth lane but that lane was going to be an exit only and the fourth lane has an option to exit. in a matter of seconds i felt a huge impact while i was in the fourth lane and i lost control of my car and i started swerving from left to right and all tire smoke around me. i dont know how i finally stopped the car...but when i did i was on the right side of the freeway and the mazda was on the left side facing traffic.
my question is how do prove that the accident was caused by the white car not me?..because on the police report the cop was like u guys have a dispute..so it looks like its going to be 50/50 for both of u guys...
here are some pics of my car..so far estimate is around $4600..they said maybe more cuz they dont know about the internal damage...

you should have taken pictures of all the signs and lane markings at that part of the interstate. taken pictures of the damage to your car and his car and try to figure out who hit who. if you were ahead of him and he hit you, it is probably fault.
i don't get what you mean in this "4th lane" "5th lane" terminology. are you counting lanes from the shoulder or the median?
my guess is that he didn't want to exit and tried to get into your lane and hit you and sent you out of control. if you were just cruising in your lane, you are 100% not at fault because if he wants to change into your lane, he has to yield to you. end of story. the only moving violation you could have commited while staying in a single lane is speeding.

Photos of the accident and the surrounding locale could be utterly instrumental in winning any case (in court at least) here.
There are people who recreate accident scenes from nothing dead-on, if they have photo representation, they'll easily be able to determine who hit who, how, when, and the result of it.
I saw it on Judge Judy
I hope everything turns out okay, man.

This is why you pay for insurance. Your adjuster will look at your car, the other driver's car, and listen to both sides. Then they try to prove that your story is correct based on where/how hard the damage was. I was in the same situation with my old Honda, where it was my story against another lady. In the end, my adjuster proved it was probable that I was in the right. So her insurance paid all of it.
no worries, i am not so fragile to have my feelings hurt. i have the same problem with not properly conveying my sarcastic humor through emoticons. no worry. i just usually refer to lanes as the fast lane, slow lane, middle lane, exit or merge lane. and so on.
