Same, i was doing a 1 over on my car at the dealer and noticed a few of these as well, I felt the lil 'lip' of the adhesive and thought it was a scratch and just rubbed it out right there.

Nose wax...I'm not even kidding, rub the sides of your nose, and then wipe it on the black looking adhesive...it comes right off...hehe...I learned that at from one of the Honda guys next to the ford dealership I work at...hehe

Ya actually, I was like wtf, but he was a salesman, and they know all this kinda stupid ____ to hide stuff from customers, so I was like...whatever just don't mess up my car...cuz a lot of salespeople kept lookin at it all day (I had my car parked in the Body Shop lot, cuz I wanted some of the scratches buffed out), the body shop manager was my old boss, so he was gonna look at it for me real quick.
