Where is the best place to mount an XM antenna ( SKYFI2 ) on my tc?

A friend mounted his on top of the dash and ran the wire down at the back of the dash so all you see is the little antenna. Reception is good.

One of my buddies has it on the dash, too. Mine is where the stock XM one mounted - next to the AM/FM antenna. Thinking about moving it somewhere.

right now i have mine afro-engineered sitting in my arm rest. I've heard of people putting them on the ledge on the side of the back moonroof above the sunshade. I think i might try and get mine run under my dash when i get a new HU installed with Sirius(gotta have it for stern).

My GPS antenna is on top of the center vent under the dash. I might stick the XM there, too. I have a spare antenna - will try it first, and if it works, will re-route the other one... Thanks for the idea ;)

Well, you guys got me going - pulled out my old huge scion antenna from the closet, went outside, took the dash apart, put it in - works great. now you can't see XM antenna anywhere on my car. Perfect.

i mounted mine on the metal ledge of the back sunroof. it's awesome. the only time the signal drops is when i'm in this one valley. my antenna is the tiny tiny magnetic antenna that came with the skyfi2
