I just pop purchased used roof rack on Craig's list. The front works fine but the back keeps sliding... I have tighten the two back towers and when i put force on it it will slide. I moved it back near the rear window for now and it stays. My thing is now the back rack is higher than the front one. Any one have suggestions please. Tired of scrapping my paint. Suggestions to clean that up also. Thanks

 

Hey, I have a Yakima on my car, and the rear does sit a little higher than the front, I haven't had any issues with it. I usually run 2 mountain bikes, and a wheel fork with a wheel on it, and I've had it 2 years now. Just check the towers periodically and make sure they're tight, & you should be fine
