It's snowing!! And two days ago it was like 70 degrees out! Thought I would just share my pain, my first time driving a non AWD vehicle in the snow

ya so the weather here is so messed up!!! Mother nature needs to make up its mind.... I thought I was going to wake up to a blanket of snow but nope!, there are little patches here and there but my thermometer reads 66 degrees!!!! WTF, mother nature is putting me on an emotional roller coaster lol its so not cool.
I am excited for the drifting though... I know that whenever it snows at night (where the parking lots aren't plowed) many many people in my school are out drifting in the parking lot.
But other than that, i really really really really hate snow, basically i just hate being cold cause i get cold easily

I was up at RIT for homecoming last weekend - it must have been 75 - 80 on Sunday and Monday. We went up to Lake Ontario on Saturday, and Niagra Falls on Sunday - the weather couldn't have been nicer. Unbelieveable to have snow only 3 days later.

Last rainy season, there was a leak on my roof and mold invaded my home. I spend about a week doing repairs. Not cheap.
Have you guys tried drifting on foot? It's actually fun.
I watered my lawn and wore my beach sandals, taped the bottom, I'd run and when I start to slip, I try to run and turn. I fall about 90% of the time but it's fun :-)

I notice you have fog lights. What brand and model are they? Are they pretty bright? Do they come in amber?

I was supposed to drive up to Buffalo today after work for a wedding this weekend. I kept getting picture messages on my phone from my friends up there. Decided I'm just going to chill down here and skip out on the wedding.
I remember the first winter I spent in Buffalo, we got 6' of snow in 2 days. The week before the neighbor had roses blooming out of her bushes. Wacky western NY weather...

I read that the northeast got quite a lot of snow the past couple days. Sucks for them. We had snow the last couple days here, but not much. Even though its colder than cold here, it managed to all melt away.
WeDriveScions - people always tell me that I am going to hate moving to Portland because it rains all the time. But it sure as hell is going to beat scraping my windows and shoveling snow for 5 months of the year.
