When they compare your car with a Camry and say its like comparing oranges to apples.

When you get hatted by Honda Lovers

 

you know you own a tc when:

your sister/female cousin/girlfriend all have the same car
you're a 40 year old chick with a midlife crisis and can't afford a BMW
you call your car a USDM Avenesis
you put lexus badges on your car and try to sell it for more.

 

You know you drive a Scion tC when you have to modify the aftermarket parts to make them work on your car.

 

When something happens to your first tc and you have to get a new car and wa la its another tc lol

 

when total car noobs say they like your "Toyota Scion"

when you walk around a Toyota dealership and cringe when you see a little blonde 16 year-old with her dad saying how cute the tC is and how it's her favorite car ever.

when other tC drivers try to race you in the same car.

when you "grow up" a little and realize the pedestal spoiler looks like complete crap, but you're stuck with it anyway.

you love they haven't ever changed the body style, but you miss the days when you'd be the only tC you'd see on the road, and other people stopped to stare at your car when you drove by.

when you go to college, drain your bank accounts on books and booze, and basically stop logging on to scionlife because you just get jealous at how your car "could" look...only if you somehow had more money.

funny thing is that it is true! most of my ex's have tC's after they seen mine. the past 2 ex's have tC's before i dated them and my gf at the moment has a tC.

when you want to do a slight mod, but end up disassembling more than you expected cause your car is built like lego pieces

when every person is too big to ride in your car and complains to you about it

It makes me feel good that all the tc's around here are stock.
makes me feel like a little bit bigger of a man

 

When you talk to your insurance agent and tell them it is a 4 cylinder normally aspirated hatch back, and your premium is based off the fact it only has 2 doors. And then you realize you can't get rid of the car without being upside down on the payments.

 

I do it ALL THE TIME. I also love to park next to other tCs too.
