You know you own a Scion tC when...
You know you own a tC when Toyota had their heads so far up their butts that they didn't redesign it for over 5 model years...and when they did (for '11)... they totally messed it up.
* seeing the new one makes me really glad I have the year of tC I have now. lol

^yup we get knocked hard over here. Its all evos, sti's and 350z's
Best one yet tho was not long after I got the car I was going into a store and a kid and his dad walk by, the kid pointed at my car and said to his dad"...and thats a tc!" He dad asked him what tC stood for and he replied, "turbo charged...DUH!"
I rounded the corner quickly and burst out laughing until I was crying lol

have to admit that it would suck to be the tc owner in that total 4 car group (performance wise). I've never been a big fan of the evo... but I'd drop my tc in a second for a nice sti or new gen Z.
But in the tC's defense, it does have a sticker price almost HALF of those other 3. But if I'm buying a car that is 10 or 15 grand more than a tC it damn well better be able to smoke it performance wise. lol.
^agreed. I don't have an extra 15k tho and I need 25+ mpg, so here I am. They are all usually really cool tho once you get to know them, plus I can usually make them laugh, in a really fake smug voice: " oh yeah you may have 200 more hp, but can your rear seats do this..." lol, gets them every time!

LOL... I have to agree with ya there... that's why I bought my second brand new tC back in 08. They are much more reasonably priced, get pretty decent mpg for having a decent sized 2.4L plant, can up the HP a little bit w/o breaking the bank to make a fairly zippy & fun DD coupe. Not super costly to mod to make "your own" style... and like you said with the seats... it's still a fairly flexible coupe for being able to bring home a few groceries to laying the seats down for a few boxes too all while still having a sub for your stereo out of the way under the rear floor. Hell I've even put blankets down and fit my mtn. bike in the back with the hatch closed a few times. Pretty versatile for around a 17K sticker price.
^^ that's actually not too shabby considering even on the stock 17" wheels are low profile tires, which are not known for being long life tires in the first place because of what they are.
On my first tC I got 43K-44K off on the Bridgestone Potenza's that it came with before I had to replace them. But I'm not hard on my cars in the first place. lol.
I still have the stock Yoko S32's that came on my 08 when I bought my second new tC. I've heard some say they don't get many miles off on them. I only have 8K on the car so far, but they seem to be doing good so far for me.
