I got an '07 tc about four months ago and am ready to start customizing it. So I'm looking for some help from the vets on what to add or change first. And what all of your favorite customizations have been. I like my rims so probably won't change them. I'm thinking of getting some tails first but am not sure. Thinking maybe altezzas. My tc is an '07 fm. So any help would be grrrreatly appreciated

Honestly, most of the tails out there look like crap. And Altezzas? Really?

Anyway.... What would help most is to know what you want to do with your tC. So do you want power? Handling? Looks?

If your car has the factory all red tails in really nice condition i'll trade you for my 2010 factory altezzas :]

 

Everyone is going to tell you to drop it so .... drop it. I personally like the altezza\ anzo tail lights, or maybe tyc tails. S2k antenna is a must the rc car oem antenna is ugly. Maybe look into some fog lights, I like apt\vrd fogs so you can look in to those. Those mods are a good start.

 

Don't slam it. (note I said slam) Altezza's like the 08+ or like the stupid crap that civics put on? A good shorty antenna always looks good. But its your own car, do what you want.

IMO, any "altezza" style lights = played out rice.

Normally I'd agree with ya there ack.... When I first saw them they didn't exactly blow sunshine up my skirt either. lol.

After I sold my 06 tC that was CSM and got my new 08 tC in SCM... I thought the tails were going to be the first thing I'd pull off of it. But against that deep Crimson metallic... the more I looked at them... they kinda grew on me. lol. If my tC was ANY other color the oem tails would've been gone long a time ago. For now Im just gonna tint the tails and tbl and call it good.

I'd like to make a suggestion to the OP here... If you post on SL asking for people's opinions on something like this.... The feedback you get would be a lot more helpful if you start by giving them at least a rough outline of what your wanting to do with your car. i.e. --- is it going to be a DD? or built for show? or built for "go"? ...etc.
There are Scion owners here on SL that cover the whole spectrum. From OEM mild to insane customs for show and those that are crankin' out monster amounts of horse power. So if you're more specific with what you plan to use your Scion for, then you'll get a lot more helpful info to use.

Sheesh, you all are brutal.

I'm just looking to modify asthetics and make her a bit more sexy looking. Not looking for insane performance or show class customizations. Maybe eventually but not for now.

Yes it is my car and yes I like the altezzas. I think they look good on the FM especially smoked.

The antennae would be good considering mine was ripped off when I bought it....sooo...yeah lol.

Lower the car a bit, s2000 antenna or any shorter antenna, legal window tint, fog lights, grilles if you want.
