ROFL? i thought many people use both sites so ur all like buddies. I personally like the visual set up better there. The fonts here are just too small and the things just dont seem very organized. Could use a visual update imo

I'm pretty new to using online forums regarding the tC/Scion cars, and I admittedly got that impression as well after visiting and registering on yourSciontC.com. Seems like just about everyone on the site, especially moderators, are so angry and/or uninterested in being helpful or friendly to newcomers. Someone is always CAPS-LOCKING about "DO A SEARCH!!" when people ask questions. I'm not saying I don't agree that users should try to perform searches before flooding a site with repetitive comments/questions; but there's a nice and a not-so-inviting way of asking/stating that fact. On this site, I see people asked to "do a search" as well; but I've never seen it done rudely - that's the difference.

Like you, Los, I visit the site for additional content regarding how-tos and DIYs, and the occasion new idea for customizing my ride. But if it no longer existed, I can't say I'd shed any tears. Seemed like more of a "we're nice to you if you're in 'the club'; good ol' boys network" site to me anyways. Just my $0.02, since the subject was broached.

 

Oh, trust me... it happens. But we at least try to keep it in check.

We do actually have a rule for people to not do that here... and to try to be helpful and provide a little more info if they want to tell someone to search.
