Default ABS warning light....wtf!?

Arite so heres the story, I've been on aftermarket rims for a couple years now and haven't had any problems. Recently i ordered new tires that were a little too big for my wheels, so i decided to take off my aftermarket wheels and mount my stock ones back on until i could order new tires. Well, today as i was driving, and i took a right turn kinda hard and came to realize that my ABS light and Tire pressure light turned on randomly. Just for frame of reference, I'm lowered on B&G coilovers with a pretty significant drop. Either way, I can't figure out why the light turned on, Tire pressure is normal 35 in front 29 in rear, and the light won't reset either. I've tried numerous times with no prevail. The sensor lights flicker too, they turned off for a little bit when i was driving, but when i hit a bump or took a turn, they'd turn right back on. The only thing i could come up with was either the ABS sensor is out of wack, or I damaged something when installing my coilovers. I"m going to re-mount my aftermarket wheels on Friday and see if i can re-set the light, but in the meantime, any help advice would be greatly appreciated.

OH and for all the SoCal guys out there, Elmore Scion/Toyota is full of douchebags =] I'd like to thank that dealer for a whole lot of nothing! lol

nope...would an abs light throw a code that could be picked up to help determine the problem?

do you know if your abs is working at all? maybe one of the wheel speed sensors went bad?

Go to another dealership and ask them to check the wheel speed sensors.

So..i figured it out, it was the ABS sensor wire. Seems as if when I was installing my coilovers with some homies, someone forgot to bolt it in, so when i took the wheel off to check it, the wire was dangling on the axle and shredded in half Guess I'm just going to order a replacement wire and that will fix that =]

This happened to me and I just finished replacing the wire that got ripped. I turned on the car and the ABS light is still on and the tire pressure is still blinking as if I never replaced it. Is there someway to have the computer read that there is a new(ish) ABS sensor fully intact? i.e. resetting the system? I unplugged the negative terminal and still reads the same.
