there's a body shop selling these brand new installed for 200 ..

 

Never heard of them... are they actually for the tC? The installed price doesn't sound too bad, but having never heard of them for the tC, I don't know what kind of a rep they have. Do you know how much they are supposed to lower it?

I think you'd be better off picking up a set of springs used in the Classifieds here or elsewhere and then calling around for install prices.

Just as a personal note, I wouldn't really try to cheap out on suspension components if you can help it. That's what you're riding on every day and very much contributes to your safety. You may want to lower it very badly, but you should probably do it right or not at all until you can. Like I said, the price for install seems decent (many shops would charge that much ONLY for install - or more).

But even if you can find a set of springs for $200, I would be more than willing to bet you can make a post in your regional forum and get a couple guys to help you out with the install and save a ton of $$ there.

I'd rather go that route than go cheap all the way around.

 

never heard of them, reading the ad on Craigslist right now, says they drop 2 inches.. Id say go for it, even if they sag they probably will come out looking like s-techs.

 

a friend of mine here in SA just picked up a set for $60. i have heard of Arospeed before, just wasnt sure if they made the springs for the tC.

 

its an ebay brand.

 

yep, i had aerospeed springs in my civic waaaaay back in the day (about 6-7 years ago to be exact, lol) they were ok i guess, but its just another cheap chinese manufacturer

i didnt know they made stuff for tc's
