Well thats not supposed to happen. wouldn't that be classified under warranty work?

Yes, especially since it's only been 8 months. Actually, technically I think it had to have been installed by the dealership.

i have TRD Springs and Stock Shocks too and been riding on it since august.

quick question to everyone. i noticed lately that my Tire Pressure Light is on which is located underneath the tach. i did check the tire pressure and made sure that my stock tires are at 32 PSI but the light still hasn't turned off. could it be possible that the tire pressure sensor is thrown off because i haven't done the alignment after i installed the TRD springs since august?

thanks in advance!

i knew there's some way to reset it but i didn't know. so that's what that button is for. i'll check the owner's manual to see if there is a method that you're supposed to follow when resetting.

thanks for the info!

You can try pushing down on the car, compressing the springs, then let go. If the car bounces more than 3-4 times before settling, I'd get the shocks checked.

You should be fine getting just springs, but eventually you'll need to get new shocks. You probably won't have to worry until you build up some mileage on your car.

From what I've seen though, the cost of TRD shocks and any brand springs is getting close to the price of TEIN Basics. TRD Sparks has the springs+shocks for $599. I'd rather do everything at once, but not everyone can afford that. If you decide to just get springs, start saving up for some shocks. You should have the money by the time you really need them that way.
