Default anyone else having this issue?

My steering wheel is off. When I'm driving straight I noticed I have to hold my steering wheel alittle to the right in order to stay straight forward. Why is it doing this and should I take it in to the dealership?

alignment woes
the dealership will charge you an arm and a leg to do an alignment
a decent shop should be able to get it done for around $60

Same problem here. I always keep my hand on the wheel anyway, so it doesn't bother me

i would check the tire pressure too
that sometimes can cause the car to steer to one side

i dont think alignments are under warranty.
most "maintenance" unless specified by the dealer is not under warranty.
most allignments go out of wack because of bad roads and pot holes. the dealer will simply tell you that you have to pay to get this fixed since its "normal wear and tear" on the car

but you could try your luck, who knows

how many miles are on the car? the average alignment should be done around every 6k miles - varying of course.

i just recently got my 5000 mile oil change. But I now remember probably why it's off. I hit and curb pretty good. But that was back in october I don't know why it would start affecting it now.

change the tires (left to right and vice versa) and see if it goes the other way... it might be a wear pattern in the tire... there is a TSB about front end drift under normal conditions... first test is to switch tires... if it starts to go the other way than its a wear pattern and you need new tires to correct. if it stays the same way then an alignment is convered under warrantee for that TSB. hope i helped.

yeah.. i have TIS access too... (just not at home) ... i've never seen anything with regards to that.

and as far as it drifting slightly to the right... i think that's normal for safety reasons.. but only slight...
