I do...but my stock springs are in the garage. I personally dont think a car looks good with after market rims and no drop...thats just me though. I'd wait and get a set of springs first. I have 19s and i'm dropped on hotchkis springs(best drop for the tc).

You can check my profile to see 18"s on stock springs. I want to go TRD but the rims were basically just waiting to be used.
Note: My old wheels are in the trunk so the rear is lower than usual.

For the people who can't afford to replace a bumper or two every few weeks, a drop isn't an option. I personally like my 18"s, and don't feel that a drop would help cosmetically in any way.

19 or 18's without a drop will look stupid or atleast off base. you can get a drop cheaper than some rims.. i got the drop before i added my rims, and i had my rims for about 3-6 months beofre i got the drop. trust me once you see it in person you will see what i am talking about. Must drop...

Hothckis is about a 2" drop and people from 16"-20" rims run them. As long as you avoid huge holes (that would kill your rim as soon as rub) and go slow when ever possible over obstructions, you should be fine.
But let me tell you, every time I come out from work, I love my wheels and my car, but can not stand the riding high look. If your worried, TRD. you get roughly a 1.25" drop and that little reduction in travel is not that important.
Just think, 19" uses an even lower profile. It is cheaper to have a rub than it is to crack a rim when going over the same hole.

Potholes are a general problem everywhere for me, I never said they were a risk of scraping the body. I scraped my stocks to hell, but it was because I was a spoiled new driver in a new car that I didn't pay for. These rims have my blood sweat and tears.
