wait so there is no shock replacment? so pretty much its just an adjustable spring? that sucks

 

Ground Control Spring Kits

This spring kit gives you the option to customize the ride height of your vehicle. After several years of use in racing applications, Ground Control spring kits have been adapted for street use. Most other spring kits offer only one set ride height when installed. The Ground Control system's unique design allows for easy adjustment. Simply lift the corner(s) of the vehicle that you wish to adjust and spin the adjustable spring seat up or down to raise or lower the vehicle*. Springs: Ground Control Springs are made by Eibach to our specs. Extensive resaerch and hands-on testing are used to determine the perfect rates for your "tc".

Adjusters: All adjusters consist of a threaded sleeve and adjustable spring seat. And are made using high strength 6061-T6 aluminum; anodized for greater durability and appearance. The threads on the adjusters are square cut which locks the adjustable spring seat in place under load. For further precaution, a setscrew in the adjustable spring seat can be used to secure adjustment. Urethane upper spring perches are used to insulate the spring.

Ground Control kits are incredible. They are somewhat of a underground phenomenon in BMW circles. Not many people run these kits, but they are spectacular. I'm running these on my BMW...the ride quality is excellent, and the spring rate offers a very nice increase in handling. Their street kits (wil lower spring rates) can actually be run with stock shocks for a short while.

 

so whats the drop on the the fronts and rear? how low can you go? just curious, cuz my old car, Prelude, the app for it could drop it 3" and then some.

 

Well for the BMW it was about 2.5 max front and rear

 

On average they can drop 3-4" front or rear.

 

ITS Just sleeves not shock replacments... Not true coilover... Cheaper still to get tein basics....

 

yea teins are good way to go

 

If you have struts/shocks already, this is a good option.
