i know this might sound like a weird question, but it seems like most people's TRD springs are white....are anyone's reD??? i got red ones...

 

Nothing wrong with that... TRD is now making them in red as well.

 

the red springs are the newer ones... so most people that have had the springs for a while couldn't get the option back then.

 

I got red TRD's too. and yeah that's the new color.

Last time I checked TRDsparks they had both available. Nice that people now have a choice.

 

I got mine in October and they were white.

yeah, you can only just barely see, them, mine are red too, they match the trd sport shocks.

We dropped a tC on the red TRD last night... the drop was significantly more than the 1.25". Once it settled down, you could only fit one finger between the fender and tire. It looks great, but none of us were expecting the severity of the drop. Anyone else have springs that fell well outside of the expected drop?

 

....Maybe I need to sell my white's and get some reds......

 

uhm...well mine have been on for over a month now
and 2 fingers fit in the rear ones and THREE in the front ones :? dunno why

 

I have 19's and thats about where I am...

 

you also have dropped significantly more in th eback than the front?

 

ya like ive said before in other threads, my TRD's have a lower drop than most ppls, and most ppl have pointed that out to me...

 

the drop is far more noticible in the back than the front. when i took my first look at my tc with its trd springs, i was like "did they forget to put the front ones on? but i began to notice how much lower it got looking at it in more familiar settings and it does settle a bit more down with time.

also, i'm at about two fingers up front, keep in mind though euh...this finger measuring isn't very accurate, unless you have man hands claudia, it should be about 3 fingers for you...

 

I'll try to get pics... I'd say it came down 2" front and rear... from the right angle, the back wheels almost look tucked. It's pretty sweet.
