Default Axel hub nut

To all of my fellow "Scion-tists" does anyone know where I can pick up a new axel hub nut. I am preparing to install a new clutch and flywheel and would like to just grind the old one off. However I cannot find a new nut anywhere.......

Any help will be appreciated, thanks!

have you tried the dealership? they usually have the parts manual on their computers and you can point out exactly what you need.

also try a local junkyard, that would be the money-saving route.

yeah dealership is the easiest way but always costly. I've purchased several suspension bolts and watnot from the dealership, a few bucks each.

Remove the stake, then take the nut off. Do not attempt to grind that off. I don't even know where that idea came from.

Thanks, I will check the stealership$$$ Lobux posted a DIY and mentioned grinding the nut off if it was stuck to the axel. I really just wanted an extra in case something happenedor I damaged the nut.

Thanks again!

THE NUTS ARE NOT REUSABLE!!!!!! You throw it out and install and stake the new one.

Adg016 is correct you are not suppose to reuse them. I would NEVER grind it off you could cause serious damage to the thread on the CV if not done properly. If your worried about it sticking take the little cap of your rim to access the axel bolt and use the weight of the car to loosen it with a breaker bar or a impact gun. Grinding it is last resort only if it had accumulated dirt in between the thread and the nut resulting in rust. Please do it the right way.
