For the last six months I have been running Raceland Coilovers on my 2007 Scion tC. They were good for the first few months, but then about 3 months in, they started getting super bouncy. The perches seized to the lowest position, and the rears were absolutely blown. Closing my back hatch resulted in the back of the car bouncing around a couple times. Whether or not they were lemons or not something had to change.
I happened to read a post by the vendor InjectedPerformance.com offering a good deal on BC Racing Coilovers in return for a detailed review. I was very interested, as I had heard these coilovers were great AND went low. My other options were B&G RS2's, which would be a very very long wait to get, or the Stance line of coilovers, which seem to anymore be a box full of parts of coilovers from various models of cars. So I called up Jo at Injected Performance and took him up on his offer.

Santa Claus came in the form of the UPS man with this box.

These things are absolutely HIGH QUALITY. Looks are deceiving but you can feel quality when you hold these. They just feel like an expensive, high quality piece of equipment.

The BC BR series come with 30-way Dampening adjustment, Pillowball upper mounts and Camber plates. You do NOT have to use the stock top mounts anymore. To adjust the Dampening, just twist the ****. To adjust the camber, you loosen the four allen screws and slide the plate back and forth.

Dirty ol' Racelands

There really is no comparison. The racelands are 6 months old and dirty, but nonetheless the BC's are just quality through and through.

It is hard to tell but the tab where you mount the brake lines was really bent out of shape, and I could bend it back to place with my bare hands. Cheap metal.

Front Left Installed

The Rears (No camber plate in the rear obviously)

Adjusting the Rears

I don't have a picture of the drop yet, but I did not slam them yet as I had to get to work and just wanted to install them.
The ride quality was superb. I set the dampening to full hard and even that was not near as harsh as my Racelands. Every bump I would hit with the Racelands would be very very bouncy whereas on the BC's was a night and day difference in the ride quality. But, better than that, there are no more squeaks! The things are QUIET! I love that. The Racelands were so squeaky and clunky. The reason why they dont bounce as much is because of 1. quality and 2. These are a full coilover. The Racelands are not. To lower with the Racelands you spin the perches down, making the spring lower and shortening the travel of the shock. With the BC's, you keep the spring locked in place where they do not compromise the travel length of the shock. To lower, you have to raise the lower body, shortening the overall length of the coilover. I'm no performance guy but these would definitely hold up to autocross.

About as low as RL's maxxed out with the perches still in. Keep in mind I am on a bigger stock tire than most, a 215/50 and also I have shorter Swift springs being shipped out to me on friday.
Overall I am super satisfied. The quality of these is superb. I give a huge thanks to Jo at Injectedperformance.com. The customer service was top notch. The shipping was quick as well. They were very good people to work with and I'll definitely be ordering more parts from them in the future.

F*ck YEs! I can't wait to see how low they go. That was the only thing holding me back from buying them. I'd hate to buy a fourth set of suspension and STILL not be happy with the drop. Do us all a favor and slam them asap and take some pics! If these go as low low, I will be ordering.
For the last pic of the rears, is that with the threaded body spun all the way up til it can't go anymore? I have a vid posted up of my B&G rears and have about a half inch or so of threads since the lower body won't go up any further. Also what are the spring rates on these? I noticed the rears are 10K, I'm guessing the fronts are 8K. I'm thinking of swapping my fronts back to 6K(what the original spring rate is for the front on B&G) since I feel the valving just isn't cutting it using 8K, might be a slight bit much spring for the original valving.

Hmm.. Not to disagree, but I was able to get custom length springs for the fronts directly from BC.
The ones you've got look as long as the ones I previously had. Good enough for 18s, when lowered all the way.

I think you're already better off with these regarding you feel these more comfortable, even with the higher spring rates.
Most times shorter springs could be had for the front, I tried for shorter springs for the rear(for B&G) and was told that it comes with the shortest spring they have, I'd have to try another company for shorter springs

Oh I'm so happy with these anyways. I know you're just trying to help spoony and I appreciate it. With the money I'll save I'll see what I can do to get the fronts lower. Is it bad to set the preload tighter to get lower also?
My buddy Omar has these as well. He removed the locking (middle perch) ring, and pre-loaded as much as possible. It looks good on 18s, though.
Jaewrek has these on 17s, and even with the same work of removing perch rings, it's not as good as he would want. Check it out:

Found this one in Jerrik's thread too. Not terrible, I can work with it until I get shorter springs. He does mention the rears slamming though.
And thanks Eric! You really do get what you pay for. Not to be a snob but its the truth.
