My Top list in order:
1. Jic
2. HKS
3. Tanabe
4. Progress (when they come out)
5. Tein.

Being Jic and HKS are semi-hard to get here, i recommend the next two the most.

i had a really bad exp. w/ progress lately. the sus. had fitment issues, was shipped 2 passenger side struts, bad customer service, etc., etc. bad exp overall , i would never buy from them ever. it was not for my car i installed in a ep3 for a friend of mine.

 

Wow good to know. I noticed there website is a mess and a pain to use "slow and unorganized"

 

Like I said before I love tein... Never let me down... And I sell about 3 sets of springs a week and about one - 2 coilover systems a week to.

 

Hmm, i've always heard great things from progress owners..

Also, Tein does make high quality stuff. I'm not putting them down at all, i was originally wanting to go with Tein.

But like Tein, you seriously can't go wrong with Tanabe either. I've been running DF210s for over 8K now without a single problem. As long as you use your common sense, no road rash either on the lower lips of the car.

i have tein basics. for the price, i think they're great. i might invest in a better set later down the road. something that offers a smoother ride at my ride height (-2.5").

anyone messed with both the EDFC and the TEAS?

HKS makes c/o's for the tc? how many pretty pennies are those?

 

No problems from me at all. I love them.

 

id dint know jic was better than teins

 

does tein offer different spring rates? and are helper/zero/tender springs available?

And do the Tanabes come with upper mounts?

if anybody has the ne TEAS please post how it is. I read an article about them, they look freakin sweet, much cooler than the edfc/

 

I got ahead of myself with the TEAS, I don't think the TEAS is compatible with coils for our application yet.

but how it works for another vehicle I'm curious to hear about.
