bigger rotors with OEM wheels?
Do these fit in the tC with OEM wheels?

They should fit fine...I beleive hahitzskippy has them on his car. Be aware that the kit will increase front brake torque which will add a lot of front brake bias which can lead to increased stopping distances. You will feel like you are stopping shorter since the car will nose dive aggressively under braking, but in reality you are no longer in a balanced state and the rears will be under utilized. In most cases an overbiased front brake setup will lead to longer than stock braking distances.

I would say no, but its your decsion..it is safe to do the front only since overly biased front brakes are at least stable under lock up. The car will track straight even if you trun the wheel under full lock. I would stay away from the rears at all costs though. Even though they are sized up equally front and rear, the rears should not be sized up as much as the front. Overbiased rear brakes create an unstable condition of snap oversteer which can be painful and expensive. If you put the fronts on, be sure to get used to the max braking actions of the car so if you get into a spot where you need to stop fast you will be able to judge your distance properly.
And yes...hes on 17s

One more thing...
the StopTech Stage 1 has Axxis Ultimate Pads or Hawk HPS?

Its really not like a BBK since you arent really benefitting in many ways.
The stock calipers are retained so you arent benefiting form stiffer calipers or better pad selection or larger pads which have better heat capacity.
The rotors dont appear to be floating so you are still likely to have coning problems under extreme heat.
The kit is really designed as an appearance mod more than anything since you are only increasing rotor diamater to make them look better behind the wheels.

Most of our Stage 1 kits come with Axxis Ultimate pads (including the tC). There are some applications where the Axxis are not available so we will substitute the Hawk HPS. There are no pad substitutions when purchasing Stage kits.
I was wondering with this product or any BBK, would our electronic brake distribution help with the overal balance of the braking system?? I would think this would help but i am not 100% sure.
The stock brake system is at or close to ideal balance. If you increase the rotor size and dont adjust caliper piston sizes accordingly you can actually wreak havoc in the electronics as they dont know how to work with the new data they will be receiving. In some cases, BBKs require ABS systems to be disabled completely due to the incorrect sizing of the components.
Heres an in-depth article which will help you to understand what a car's ABS sytem does and how a BBK can copletely throw off the readings if not adapted tot he car properly:

I would say that no...this kit will not improve overall balance of the braking system...if anything it will be worse with an overbiased front condition.

Mine fit fine and I have the rears in stock........ I have pics to prove it if I can find em.

Ok guys remember the powerslot is just a bigger rotor... Not a big brake kit... Comes with a relocation bracket to push the caliper out.... Its more of a show thing other then the bigger sloted rotors. It wont really un balance the braking. But they sell a rear kit too. And for the cost of the look compared to the real thing its worth it. Unless you really need the crazy braking power.
Actually it will affect the balance...moving the caliper further out on the rotor will increase brake torque (more leverage on the rotor). By not reducing the overall clamping force of the calipers you are adding quite a bit brake torque and bias to the fronts.
Absolutely..our kits are designed from the get-go to maintain or create ideal balance and be completely compatible with the factory ABS systems.
If you are intersted in how we do our testing this is an interesting article :

StopTechs, thus far, are the best brake kits I've seen for the tC. Wilwood may be good, so might Brembo, but we don't know that too well because their respective websites don't show too much in way of information while StopTech has a load of tech articles on their webbie.
That, and the fact that not only does StopTech have a brake consultant here with a tC, as The_Instigator more likely than not is here for himself, they also have a StopTech rep with that screen name that comes by once in a while.
Aside from that, everything that's ever been said about StopTech brakes either reinforce my current knowledge about brakes or simply enhance what I know. When reading about the stuff that other brake kits offer, some times they present counterintuitive information such as increasing clamping force on larger rotors. It doesn't take a course in physics to know that increasing clampage on larger diameter rotors is bad. In fact, I knew that the first time I flipped my bike over by only squeezing one of the handles. Good thing I was wearing a helmet! And had training wheels!
Anyways, I'd hate to ruin any sales but Rotora and Powerslot are names that I almost (if not never) never see on high performance cars or any professionally raced car. And although some may call "RICE!" as a street car doesn't need race equipment, neither does a street car require race-inspired equipment that wouldn't hold up well in race conditions.
Edit: of course Rotora and whatnot will come up but as a whole, I don't see all that much of Rotora and Powerslot in race vehicles. Also, a lot of OE cars come with brakes made by Brembo and TRD sells StopTech brakes. If TRD wasn't concerned about performance I'm sure they'd've sold the much cheaper kits from other companies at the same price for some insane profit.
BTW, I want 10% off of a stage 2 BBK from StopTech.
No but really, I only do this because I really do support StopTech. And that's why I feel I deserve 10% off.
:D

i have the powerslot fronts...
and yes the braking is increased by a lot
and yes i do get a lot of nose diving.
but i enjoy my nose diving and oversteer setup.
and yes i will be upgrading the rear rotors a lil bit... just o match up wit the fronts a little more hehe

I thought Rotoras are used on a lot of D1GP drift cars and I just saw this car recently
