boo i just found out tein ss
man i was looking at teins site, and i found out that stech springs are lower than the coilovers by .8 but the coilovers can go .4 lower in the back. damn i wanted a perfectly tucked car. anyone know of any GOOD coilover that can go lower? i just want it lower by .5 in the front and .7 in the back.
if i cant find one i might have to go with the stechs and koni yellows since the yellows will let me move perches

First, I think you're looking at the wrong specs... check Tein's site again.
As for myself, I would like to go with the S-Techs, but the look of the Sprint springs or the Celica Skunk2's makes me wish there was a perfect set. Both the Sprint and Skunk2 springs tuck too much on the back. If they were raised maybe half an inch, they'd perfectly close the gap on the rear wheels without tucking. The fronts look perfect on both these sets. I figure I'll probably go with S-Techs because at least the drop on those looks about dead even all the way around... unless someone comes out with a new set of springs that does what I want (2.75f - 2.25r or something around there)...
Oh, sorry... I got carried away... the Tein SS go 2.7f and 2.6r, which is lower than the S-Techs will go, for sure.

Seriously now, you're looking into coilovers on the basis of how low the drop is? Why not just cut your springs to achieve the height you want and leave the coilovers to the rest of us who use them for performance.
just because i dont want wheel gap mean i dont want performance? why would you tell someone to cut springs, would you be happy if someone died because of your stupid comment? i swear this web board has the stupidest people on it, last time i check we are here to help each other out not make useless comments just because you wanna post.
ps you think your little led light help your performance?
or those subs you put on your car? if someone made the best handling suspention in he world but it raises your car 2 inches and were pink would you get it, i think not. there is nothng wrong with making your car look nice while thinking bout performance

Koni yellows are out but when I called Koni the guy didn't recommend them with anything larger than a 1.5" drop. He didn't mention trimming bumpstops, but when you think about it, that wouldn't solve anything. It would just allow the piston in the shock to reach even lower in the body before it's path was interupted by the suspension bottoming out on the now-smaller bumpstio.
