Default Brake bleeding issues

I'm bleeding my brake after removing the calipers and replacing pads and can't seem to get a firm brake pedal. Im using a one man bleeder. I've been at it for a few hours now ( was 20 pimps for firmness in pedal and is now down to 10). I also noticed a hissing sound from the engine bay when pumping. I guess I'm wondering if it took anyoe else this long or of anyone heard a similar noise whole doing it. Also, I there does not appear to be any leaks (coming from the lines or the calipers).

I did it with a friend and had a soft pedel and the hiss.... It took a little driving around to get the through the lines before another bleed and the rest of the air came out...

Exclamation

I realized I had the front calipers switched (right on left and left on right). Since the line was above the bleeder, the fronts wouldn't bleed right.
