Question Brake Input

Hey guys! I am in need of new front brakes and rotors. I want to use this chance to maybe upgrade the front brakes not really into BBK..dont have the $$ for that. But I was wondering what brand of brakes are more for DD with some sportiness to it. I was looking into these http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/se...ce%2FAccessory
But Idk..I want to get some legit slotted rottors with good pads, and maybe upgrade the calipers.. I am roughly looking to spend $400 or less.. any input? with names, links or pics

Bbk is a waste on a street car anyways. They wont make you stop any faster in that application.

I daily drive and autox mine, with heavy amounts of left foot braking on autox courses. I use napa or oreilly rotors (just blanks, not drilled or slotted) and stop tech (centric) pads bedded in properly. That setup wont dissapoint, does its job, isnt too overly dusty or noisy and doesnt cost an arm and a leg. I find that most serious autoxr's and hpde people tend to run similar setups on their weekend warrior daily drivers with great luck.

I did the stoptech kit from dezod. Includes lines, rotors, pads, and fluid i believe. Looks good, but i dont really notice a difference on the daily commute... Maybe a little firmer pedal that might be just in my head. But it will help me once it warms up and we start hitting some back roads.

You wont notice much until you push the car. That goes with most mods.

Just be sure to perform a proper bed in procedure for street sport pads , it will make a night and day difference

What would a proper bed in procedure be? I read a few different ways of doing it.

Go to the stop tech site and perform the one for street performance pads (not full race setups). It is a bit to write up on here from my phone
