Default Brake question, is this the right forum?

I wonder if theres a problem with my brakes...a few weeks ago I was going down a slight hill and there was a stoplight at the bottom. The road had a few bumps, nothing too major but it would make the car rock alot, and ive been on this road a bunch of times, this one time I went to hit the brakes as normal and I felt a grinding kindof thing and the car woudnt brake for a sec but eventually it did. I thought nothing of it. Nothings been wrong with the car (0 and braking everywhere els eis the same but it happened recently again going down a slight hill with bumps on the road. I can feel the "grind and tension" but it does brake. Should I be concerned?

ABS. Normal. The bumps cause the wheel hitting to spin at a different speed, setting off ABS.
