Brakes, Finally. DONE.
After about 61k miles... I've finally ordered new brakes.
Just placed (literally) my order with Dezod for a set of 4 Dezod blank rotors and Axxis Ultimates all around.
I wanted more bite from the pads for autox and it was between these and a few others. I may have actually ordered the Dezod pads, but he said they were backordered anyway. I went with Dezod rotors b/c I just want a blank. Don't need any slotted or drilled things for my use. And the Dezods have a painted hub to hopefully cut down on potential rust down the road.
Will definitely be posting info when the swap gets done. Not sure when it'll be yet though.

you might end up wanting to switch the pads....i HATED the axxis pads that came with my Stoptech Stage 2 kit. they are dusty as hell so i went with EBC Redstuff. for autox you'd be better off with Yellowstuff.
I've actually heard the EBC pads are all really dusty. I can put up with a little dust for the better bite... but I'll just have to see exactly how much once they get installed. I'll keep the yellowstuff in mind though. Thanks!

Yes, they're OEM size and will look stock. No need to go bigger at this point. I'm not worried about the look, just want some more bite (hence the pads) and figured I'd replace the rotors right along with them since they're original as well.
Autozone has front rotors for $35 each and rear for $30 each... but I'd rather get the Dezods partially b/c they have the painted center and partially b/c I'd trust them more than a Duralast rotor.
Napa, on the other hand, has fronts for $52 each and rears for $35, so Dezod is cheaper there.
I didn't bother calling Toyota on them. Partly b/c of the painted hubs on Dezod's and partly b/c I'm lazy.

I switched from a Wilwood big brake kit on my last civic to factory rotors, stainless lines, Hawk HPS and better fluid and couldn't tell much of a difference. The reason I switched is because the Wilwoods for the EP3 civic didn't have dust seals so after a few thousand miles they started making some serios noise from the crap that had made its way to the pistons.
