Im looking to put together a break kit for my Tc..... New rotors, calipers, pads, and steel reinforced lines...
Could the Evo Brembo caliper fit on a Tc? I know they are 4 piston in front and 2 in the rear! Don't know if the brackets would fit...
And and suggestion on rotors i just want slotted not drilled, so the big break kit from Brembo is out!
I'm thinking about going with hawk pads!
Any info or suggestions would be great!

actually I've seen people run evo calipers on FC rx7's..don't know what kind of modification was required to do it but I remember it being fairly straight forward. Not saying it would work but saying that stuff has been interchangeable before
The TRD one for the Celica is made by stoptech and is a great BBK.
The new TRD BBK for the tC I believe is made by some other company, not sure who really. All I know is that it has a different rotor size/spec, (TRD = 340mm Diameter, Stoptech/old TRD = 328mm). Only comes with drilled rotors as well. Price is also $1k less, which leads me to believe it is made by a lower end company.
Rotora, Wilwood, and Brembo are options as well. You get what you pay for, remember that!
Once I finish my stoptech rebuild, I will post up about them.

I'm currently on the Wilwoods and I love them. I have the slotted only version.

I know that those are options the reason im asking about the calipers for the evo is cause they are the same sive from the Tc brembo kit so i guess id have to dig up the brackets....
Im trying not to spend a ridicules amount on my brakes!! I know that if i
get kits like that im spending anywhere from 1500 to 2500 on kits!!!!
you might need the rotors cuz your stock ones wont even take the full pad, my friend is trying to do something similar with his 190e benz by custom making a bracket to fit larger merc rotors and calipers, his dad said it shouldnt be too much to get some brackets
you would have to re-drill the rotors, i believe the evo runs a 5x114. as far as the brackets, i'm not sure how much it would cost but if someone finds out please let us know.
people do these conversions all the time so its nothing new, just don't be cheap or ghetto with it.

yea why not get the rotors from the sti for the bolt pattern? when looking at my homie's sti brembos, i noticed the caliper is mounted on the opposite side of the rotor as our calipers, would that pose a problem or could it be worked out with a custom bracket... if anyone knows
