Default caliper painting

I was wondering if shops offer this service? I don't feel like doing it on my own and was wondering if this can be done professionally.

None that I know of. I say DIY bro. It should be a fun experience. If you mess up you can just repeat the process/sand it down again. GL!

This is a very easy process. I can almost promise you that you will not mess up anything

Do some searching and read the DIY instructions. You will see how easy it really is.

1)remove all wheels
2)take loose the 2 bolts on every caliper to take them loose from the disk.

DO NOT LET THE CALIPERS HANG FROM THE LINES! they will get messed up.

3)get some heavy duty wire or somethin like that to hang the brake caliper on something so it doesnt put stress on your brake line.
4)wrap EVERYTHING in newspaper and put plastic bags over your rotors.
5)spray your calipers with brake cleaner and let them dry.
6)coat your calipers with your choice of paint and let them dry.
7)put them back on and then put the wheels on.

Its one of the most simple things you can do.

The cool thing is that you can paint em while the calipers are still on the wheel. You wont be able to paint the entire caliper (parts not seen), haha, but it will still turn out nice.

Be sure to clean the caliper well, a small brush helps if it is dirty

yeah, I did mine while they were still on the car using the brush! Didnt' get the back side but you can't tell when the wheels are on.

However, any company that PowerderCoats engine and other autoparts will do breaks too...we got a company out there that does wheels, valve covers, manifolds, etc...

yeah get brake cleaner from the auto parts store....I'd take the brakes off...it doesn't take that long. However if you are not mechanically inclined then I wouldn't do it. Brakes are vital for safety and cannot risk putting back wrong or damaging something.
