Camber
Hi, i picked up a new set of wheels and I was just wondering what I'd have to do to get all my tires to have an even wear. i've been dropped on h-techs for about 2 years and on stock tires/wheels. i recently picked up a set of Volks that are 18x7.5 +47. tires are falken ziex 512's 225/40zr18. thank you.
here's a quick pic i snapped with my phone:

All you need for even wear is an alignment. If everything is in spec, you're fine.
And again, contrary to what everyone says... camber is NOT the main destroyer of tires. Toe will kill tires a LOT faster than a bit of negative camber. You can easily run -2 or -3 deg of camber without any issues. But a bit of toe will shred some tires.

handsoff: yep, from T-bomb. you know him? no alignment...didn't need to for awhile but i noticed how bad it was a year later when i took the wheels off to put on the new wheels. a lot of wear on the inside part of the tires in the front.
carbon: that's what my stock tires looked like too. are those stock wheels or what? what drop?
so, all i need is an alignment and it's all good? i was thinking i needed some sort of camber kit...?

you'll be fine. I've been dropped on Hotchkis(much lower then H-Techs) for 2 years and my camber on the back is CLEARLY out of wack. you can tell just by lookin at it. My tires are worn unevenly but not bad enough for me to justify buying a camber kit (They couldn't get it in spec as Allan said cuz of the drop in the back). I think the camber in the back looks sexy anyway
. You'll be fine with just an allignment if u plan on staying with HTechs
you can adjust the stock camber in the rear enough, i dont see a need for a camber kit for the rear, unless your racing or something and you want something stronger then the stock camber arms and want easier adjustments.
