Default camber adjusting

Hey I was wondering if any one had any sugestion on what to do about my rear tires wearing quicker on the inside of the tires. This is only happening in the rear. I have put the TRD springs on my car, which is not a sugnificant drop for after market springs. I never did get my car aligned. Cause i no i have a negative camber. Therefore, do you think that if I get my car aligned where they fix my camber that will solve the problem or has anyone else out there had a similar problem? Thanks.

K thanks man. I have rotated my tires. Everyone even says they can see my tires tilted in when driving behind me. So do you think just getting it aligned with out a camber kit will work?

you really don't need camber until you go over a 2 inch drop.

i have the trd drop, waited a week, got it aligned, haven't had any unusual tire wear at all. and the dealers verified that my alignment was out of spec before the alignment was done. and no, didn't need any sort of camber kit.

Definitely get the alignment ASAP. I got the TRD springs, and it didn't require anything extra. Also rotate your tires if the wear is pretty bad on the rear.

well, i do go to school in a town called frostburg, which is by no means a misnomer. i go home everyweekend to montgomery county and there is a fairly consistant difference of about 10 degree's between the the two. granted there is also a major difference in the elevation between frostburg and moco.

but yeah, monday mornings when i roll up to campus, the frost on the cars is so thick it looks like it did snow, and sometimes when i drive home with snow on my car from frostburg to moco, everybody looks at me like "where did he just come from and why is there snow on his car?"

Toe out can be killing your tires too, as can a blown shock.

yeah, i have htechs with no camber kit. i took it in for an alignment a couple weeks after the install. that was about 20k miles ago, and there's no uneven wear on my tires. cost depends on where you go, but it should be $50-$80.

i know firestone or somewhere that if you pay 150 upfront, you get unlimited alignment for a whole year.

but im not sure if they'll mess with anything that deals with aftermarket parts....

I installed some H.Techs about a month ago and when I did the alignment on my rear I adjusted it as far as it goes and I still have a neg camber on the rear...the problem is that Toyota does this to make money because on the front you have to buy a new bolt but on the rear you have to grind out the bolt hole to make it even again...its all about money
