cant decide which is best
alright heres my scenario. im running a 18x8 +35 offset wheel with a 225/40/18 tire and when i drive depending on how the car is leaning goin up driveways and entrances the driver side rear wheel rubs. Thats the only wheels that rub though so my dad said i should get a stiffer spring but my thoughts were i think the struts bad and not the spring.
so what i want from this. my tire not to rub and i would love to lower it a little but not rub the tire if possible
so hers what im trying to decide as moneys tight right now
-i would love coilovers but to expensive(dont want racelands)
-should i get new/used OEM struts
-get TRD struts and use current springs
-save a little and buy a cheaper set of struts and spring ether OEM or tokico or something
not sure what to do as i really dont wanna spend more then 500 bucks as im also trying to get a new exhaust

coilovers just arent a option..im broke and they are way to expensive at the moment and i dont race the car so they arent really needed more of just over kill. i just wanna get some good struts and spring that are a tad lower, and stiffer so no rubbing

today when i got home i noticed it seems the wheels thats rubbing is sticking out farther then the other..attached photos sorry fro crappy phone quality

ya i figured that one out now..hopefully can take it and get it aligned soon. ive only had the car a month and i woulda assumed when they mounted balanced and installed the new wheels and tires they woulda noticed it and said something but guess not

Hard to tell from the pictures, but D/S looks like you have too much toe-in, P/S looks like too much camber.

You car has bad toe.. easy fix jack the car up and pull it in some... I have a camber issue with my car which you need to buy things fo and i rub its a life style... but racelands good set of coilovers for the price i love mine.
