Hey guys I have spent about 1.5 hrs trying to finagle the front sway bar out of its location. I have dropped the front subframe by following the provided instructions but I can not manage to get the front bar out. I have considered cutting it, bit if I have to cut the stock bar to remove it how the F*&# am I going to get the new one in! Does anyone have any suggestions for getting this demon seed out?

 

I wish I could provide a bit of help here... I've done this, but I really don't remember too much of it - other than I hated it. Which instructions are you following? Hotchkis?

Have you gotten the OEM brackets off yet?

 

yeah I'm followingthe hotchkis instructions, and the oem brackets and bushings are out

 

just got the bar out. I figured a way to lower the subframe more.....


new bar is about to go in.....

 

Yeah I have the Hotchkis bars and the front one is a pain in the azz.. Hope it went well for you!!

 

Ive changed a half dozen front bars on tcs there always a pain in the ___ but i got a lift so it normally only takes 45 min or so.

 

Hey did you ever get that front bar in? All the pita stories made me go with just the progress rear.
