Default Car is making a funny sound when turning right.

Ok, for some reason, whenever i'm turning right or going like over a bump or anything, there seems to be this noise comming from the left side of my car. it kinda sounds like a pop, or something is being hit. i dunno really know what it is. I have TRD lowering springs and Hotchkis sway bars front and back. I've had them for like a month and a half, and i think it's only been starting recently. I'm concerned, modding my car is turning into a nightmare

god, what would cause the spring to move around? It was fine up untill recently. I also looked at it and it kinda looks a little slumped, not sure though

LOTS of tCs have had this problem (mainly in the passenger side front with TRD springs etc) but seems its happening in general.

Have the dealer pull and reseat it. Unless you can do it yourself.

Look at the Bushings on the front sway bar. I took my car to the track about a month ago, on the way home I noticed the sound and feel, you talked about.

they prob. just cam out and are in need of repair.

cheap fix, just take it to a shop.

Check if the front sway bar is also hitting anything, any scratches or brush marks on the bar is a good indicator.

this is true, I also had my MMW S-pipe hitting aginst my front Sway bar and it made a Horrid sounding Vibration noise. if this is happening GET IT FIXED NOW.

after about 700 miles of this, when I took off my s-pipe to get it fixed, I looked at the bar and some of it had been warn away, this is a potentialy dangerous problem. If this is happening get it looked at as soon as possible.

When you installed the front sway bar did you spin the clip on the boot like it says to in the install process...?

Check the sway bar for scratches or places it has been rubbing thats how I discovered the tein coilover /hotchkiss problem back in the day on my car.

well i had a shop put it on for me. From what i can see, there are no scratches anywhere near the parts that hold the bar on. Turning the wheel also makes a creaking sound now, jut developed. Toyota said they might have to charge a crapload and the shop i took it to said goto toyota, they know what to do and we don't. UGH this is seriously a nightmare

Did you ever get this fixed?
I was planning on getting TRD Springs and Hotchkis sways but this is the setup you have and I would like to know what the problem is.
Before the problem, how is the setup? Is it really worth it? McGeorgeparts has it for like 350 as a package deal and its so tempting.

i have the same freakin problem with my car. whenever i hit a bump or something i get a crank or loud scraping noise coming from the right side front. i think that the tire is rubbing the wheel well when i hit something big like a pot hole. it only happens when i go faster than 30

lol. School has been hell for me so i just left it alone. I'm officially done tomorrow though, so i think i'm going to call up Josh at fasterscions like someone recommended i do. My only guess is that the swaybar is moving around and all of the bolts down there might not be tightened all the way.

We should almost have a sticky about this problem - it has happened to mine and now I've lost count on how many other tC's.

Well, i finally got around to calling Hotchkis. Talked to a guy named Drew, he was very friendly and helpful. Turns out i'm gonna drive down to their hq in Santa Fe and have them inspect it for me. I feel confident that the makers themselves are going to finally tell me the problem instead of all these other lying neglectful places i've dealt with over the last few months (Most noteably TOYOTA). If any of you live in the valley in s.cal, don't deal with Northridge Toyota's maintenance dept. (they're liars and they are lazy )
