Default Which to choose...

Hey, everybody! Figured I'd get some input here. I have a set of TRD springs I was planning on getting installed, however, I now have a shot at getting a set of H Techs for dirt cheap! Those have always been, in my opinion, the best lookin drop. The thing is, I'm on stock struts, and have 18x8 TSW Nardo's mounted on the car, and wasn't sure if the half inch or so difference would come into play or not. Ok, that's it, figured I'd see what kinda responses I'd get. Thanks for reading!

The ride will be fine, but for future reference rim offset will also play a big part into the "will it work".

Oh, yeah, I wasn't worried about whether it'd work really. It was more of a "which would look better" kinda thing. Wondered whether that half inch or so difference between the TRD's & H Techs would worth it, ya know? Cause I'd probably prefer the look of the H Techs, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

I'm on TRDs now, but i have RLs in my garage going on in a week or so. I'll be honest with you, if you're going on looks, you won't be satisfied until you drop even more than H-techs.

^^ this. i have S techs on my scion, imo the car looks great with them on. granted im on stock wheels, however, i got the " i need to dump my car" itch because i know i want it even more low.

but to answer your question, i think go with the H techs since its tad bit lower.

Hahaha I definitely can appreciate what you guys are saying, but I hafta be careful cause I don't have the best roads to drive on! So, slammin it isn't a risk worth taking. Stupid townships not spending my tax money on the roads...bastards! Haha

if the only thing holding you back is the roads, the itch will eventually get you. At some point you'll ditch the comfort for the looks.

You can still ride comfortable and still be low if you choose the right coilover setup, choosing a route with better roads will help also, most likely it'll be longer but the drive would be more enjoyable.

That last part is tough in PA. You know the roads are bad in the state when you can instantly tell you've left it by the road on 95 being nicer! haha

The roads where I live are pretty nice, but the roads near my college are garbage. Either way, I'm still putting in my coils, my oem struts are close to dying anyways.
