Clunking Noise? HELP!!!
When I go over bumps the back end of my car makes loud clunking noises. It is not the hatch, it is coming from under the car.
I lifted it up yesterday and checked all the bolts (all tight), I checked to make sure the wheels were on snug (all good), and I checked to see if anything was hitting anything else, but no luck!!
The noise seems to be loudest when im driving at speeds between 20-30mph over bumpy roads. I have an idea what it may be, but I want to hear other opinions.
As far as aftermarket suspension parts go, I have Hotchkis springs and Hotchkis front/ rear anti-sways.

its prolly your end link ... I've had it happen before on my camry. They're grease packed bushings that pivot, if one tears the grease will dry up and it will clunk around.
PM me if you want to come by and I can take a look at it or I can do it at the Lou Fusz show on sunday if I make it by.
...I can swap it out for you when you get a replacement, I have all the proper tools at my house.

check to make sure that your rear shocks are on tight as well. I drove over a bump and the nuts came right off, I'm not sure how the hell they managed to do that, but I ripped apart the back and shocks weren't bolted down.
thanks for the suggestions guys. If it is the end links, would it be covered under warranty?
bluemeanie- i appreciate the offer and i'll be certain to let you know if i need any help.

^^^ No it wont be covered by warranty in most cases. They will say the sway bar is 300%+ stiffer than the stock oem one and now the sway bars have became the issue not the crappy weak stock end links.
Thanks for all your help everyone.
The problem was solved by tightening all of the nuts that are associated with the rear sway. Specifically in my case, the driver's side end link was pretty loose. Once everything was tightened back up, the car is MUCH more quiet.
You know, it really is great when you can simply post a problem that you have and you are answered with possible solutions.
I sincerely thank all of you who posted in my thread.

Glad you got yours fixed. I've tried everything to the extent that i'm going to the dealer on saturday for them to take a look while i'm still under warranty.
I hate having them touch my car!
Just wondering, what exactly are the endlinks? Does anyone maybe have a picture (or ideally a DIY) of what to tighten? Any info would be appreciated b/c this is driving me crazy. The dealer told me I blew the rear struts (even though i'm only on TRDs), but there is something up front too...
EDIT: I suppose that if I were to find my way to tightening the endlinks, I would need to know the torque settings if anyone happens to have em
