Hey guys I need some help with picking a Coilover. I only have about 800 to spend i dont need a coilover for tracking or anything like that but i do like to have a little fun on the street and highways. I want something that is going to last and not blow out in a year. Could you guys help me out im not really sure if i can even find a OK Coilover for around 800 i have been looking but not sure whats good.

I was thinking maybe Ksports but not sure?

Stay away from ksports..I've heard more complaints about that coilover having issues than any other.

If you want brand new the only thing you are really going to find within that budget are really Rokkor or Raceland (do a search..both have their own threads) otherwise check out the classifieds..if you can save up like $200-$300 more I would reccomend either H&R or some Form and Function coils..check the Assaultech thread in the classifieds..they usually have some good deals going on.

Rokkor or Raceland they are both about 400 right? Just spending that much on a coilover is scary to me ha i know the Raceland has 2 year warrany but still i dunno i would like to save the money but i dont know if it would be worth it? Im not sure what i should do save money so i could maybe get a clutch and get a cheaper coilover or just get something good? what would you do

For the daily driver and what not racelands and rokkor are fine. I would love a set of FF for my car but they are a bit spendy for me.

Yeah maybe ill just go wit Raceland they have the warrany so I'm a little safe if they blow out. They just look like they are made out of really cheap stuff. But I would like a flywheel clutch

Everyone I can think of that has had them has had nothing but good things to say about them. Even when they had issues they got replaced right away. I am sure racelands would suit your needs fine.

I have read the Raceland thread and most people say good things about them. So I'm going to go with Raceland so I can get a Clutch Flywheel. I want to boost my Tc but I'm not going to do so till about this time next year if the world hasn't ended yet lol. So if I'm going boosted what Flywheel Clutch should I go with?

Everyone praises Raceland for being cheap, but I'd rather spend a bit more money on something as important as suspension. The newest-gen KSport coilovers are great. They have redesigned quite a bit, and they are pretty solid. The top pillowball mounts are pretty hefty, and you should be able to pick up a set for around $900. Tein basics are cheap and reliable as well.

for around 800 you could get something ASIDE from rokkor and racelands...yea they work but everyone on here loves them just cuz they are cheap and have good warranty. but you forget, fact of the matter is, cheap products come with cheap quality.

tein basics are around 800-900, so are BC racing coilovers, function&form type1 are about 900, theres also megan racing and tanabe...all those are about 800-900...depending where you look for your deals.

If you wait and watch the classifieds you can get a good set of REAL coilovers for cheap and have money left.
