Default coilover question (h&r)

has anyone ridden in a tc that has the h&r coilover and another tc with any other coilovers? i think i'm getting the h&r, but i haven't ridden in a tc with them. the only thing that makes me unsure about them is that they don't have damper controls, but i don't know if i really even need the damper controls. the car is being used for street only, probably will never see any track time. basically, i can't decide between progress, tanabe, and the h&r. they're all around the same price, and i don't think any of them have damper controls, but both tanabe and h&r have helper springs. i saw joe from dezod's thread on the coilover, but there really wasn't much opinion from anyone else(especially people who aren't selling the thing, or are sponsored by h&r). if anyone has any input, please let me know. i'd like to hear a little more about em before i go and shell out a bunch of money for something i've never even seen in person before. thanx

The progress are backordered for a long time, so I sent with the H&Rs. They ride very nice. They are tight but not bouncy....

Yeah I agree. I have H&R's, they don't jar you or make you feel like it's beating you up, but you hug the road very tightly.

I had a choice of any coilover I wanted for my tC and I ended up buying the H&Rs. They win races for a reason. The quality of the suspensions is amazing, and the ride is very driveable for the amount of handling you pick up. I have no regret putting them on the car and I feel like these will last me quite some time.

Here's a link to our page that sells all the coilovers we carry for the Scion tC. You can look around from there, but I definately love the H&Rs.

Yeah I got mine from you guys. If you haven't had a chance yello, bring your tC to an autocross stock and then bring it after you get the H&R's installed.... you'll be astounded. Accompany that with a rear sway and you'll have a car that handles like one that doesn't have a glass roof!!

H&R doesn't release their spring rates, so the competition doesn't get any ideas.

hey should have spring rates though...

but progress or h&r....i might go progress because of spring rate, but everyone says h&r is still really smooth and comfy but also giving sweet performance...as for the progress i only heard they are reallly smooth and comfy, nothing about performance. anybody wanna pitch in?
