Default curious question

hi,

I'm new to the forums just got a 2008 azure blue pearl tC yesterday without options but this is what I'm wondering. If i purchase aftermarket springs (ie. Tein H-techs or Tanabe Nf120 springs) do you think the dealership would help me install them so that I can keep my warranty on them or must I buy the TRD springs?

Thanks for your time.

If it's an 'o8, then your color is Waveline Pearl. The got rid of AP this year.

I would see if any local shops can install the springs for you. They are usually (a lot) cheaper than the dealership. Also, the dealership has to prove that anything aftermarket was the cause of the problem if one should arise. Just because you install something (correctly) aftermarket on your tC does not void your warranty.

Congrats on your purchase!

I've been looking at the forum for two days and I really don't know which is really good to get for the price >< I was thinking the h-techs or the nf120

htechs sit a little lower than TRD and the ride is smooth as stock without the body roll...I am very happy with my htechs.

A toyota dealer here in dallas once told me they gonna charge $150 each not including tax so the total would be $600 plus tax. Way too high.

we have 3 dealers here in my area... they all qouted me $550. Throw in another $89 for alignment... Your almost better off doing the install yourself, then paying for the alignment.

dont ever take your car to the dealer. they will over charge you and will do the samething that local shops will. they always tend to blame aftermarket equipment for everything
