You aren't driving hard enough and pushing this bar to its limits until you pull a 180 atleast once. Come on engifineer, du eet.

Do you have a video set up? It would be nice to see you pulling some slides while at these test and tunes.

Hahaha I remember the first time I went out to Auto X right after I had installed my hotchkis bar on full stiff; and the very first corner was a long fast left hand sweeper. Too fast of a corner to brake hard so I had a big lift-off and I remember the rear just snapping out. I was like OMGBBQWOTTHENCOUNTERSTEERASAP!

Lol it was fun. I really want this DG bar too, but I don't auto x anymore so it would be pointless for me to get it. They look like good bars though, a must have upgrade for any tc that sees track time.

Ran the bar on the stiffest setting all day. We use 2 courses at the tnt's, usually one that is more flowing and one that has more slower technical sections. The car felt GREAT on both courses. Rotated nicely, was well balanced through the corners, stable through the slaloms, etc. Needs to be driven smoothly of course with its higher tendency to rotate , but felt great overall.
Glad to hear! Any oversteer at all on the stiffest setting?

oversteer was there at times and will make you pay for mistakes (poorly timed lifts or braking) but actually was very workable. If someone was not used to dealing with a fwd in oversteer mode, I am sure it could sneak up on them, but for someone that has spent time forcing it to rotate it is manageable for sure.

Felt GREAT in the hard sweepers, where I was able to stay in power more since the car was not pushing. Actually able to pull the car around the corner a bit with the throttle, which is tough to do normally on a fwd. And when it did start to push a tad, a little bit of lift set the tail back in the right position. I would say anyone who autocrosses for sure would benefit from this bar. Run it on the soft or mid setting on the street, put it on the stiff setting and adjust your driving to match on the course.

I do have some videos from inside the car that I will upload soon robocop. Since sliding is the slowest way around a corner, it usually only happens dramatically if a mistake is made I do have one vid from last year on a cold day where I made one of those and went for a bit of a ride. Most sliding is very slight and not really easy to notice on an in car vid. Plus, the in car vids dont portray the movement and speed very well.

Here are a couple test n tune runs from sunday... not the best quality.. but they work. Wind noise pretty much kills the sound.

You would not be trying hard enough hadn't you harmed a cone or three.

Holy moly, these nuts are freaking hard to get off. Especially the ones on the stock endlinks. I think I stripped the hex. Anyone have any advice on how to get these suckers off?

Lots of penetrating oil and let them sit.

Use a hex socket on an ratchet instead of a standard allen wrench.

Tap the back of the socket to ensure it is seated in all the way before turning it.

Or... use a cutoff wheel if all else fails The endlinks will be trashed though afterward.

Remember, you can unbolt the bottom of the endlink as well as the top, so as long as one end is loose it will come off the car.

i gave it a second go and I think I stripped the threads on the hex...FML. Guess I have to crack these nuts. I have no other idea how to get these guys loose. I allowed solutions to penetrate but after three winters, these nuts are super rusted.

edit: wished I used a hex socket instead of an allen wrench.

Went to a autox yesterday. I left the bar on the middle setting but even then the car felt so much better pushing it around the corner. Oversteer only happened once. It was on my first one and almost went off course and into to the trees. Here is a bit of rough cut video. The wind is a bit excessive so forgive me of that. Their was a cone harmed during the making of all my film.
