Just did mine this past weekend. Cake. Of course I've installed a strut bar on a tC before and have gone through most of the steps required a few times to do springs.
You shouldn't need an alignment afterwards because it shouldn't be changing any of the suspension geometry (ride height and such).
As for the torque... well, I probably do things wrong there and don't actually torque most things to a specific number... but I think the included instructions should actually tell you. If not, just call your local dealer and they might be able to say.
