Also.. when I say "Groove", they ARE fit inside the circle groove in the bottom of the strut, but the end of the Spring, is not in the part where it has a little bump on it.. so that's what I'm considering the "Groove".

Nothing to worry about the Bump Stops though?

yea i cut my front bumpstops about half off when i did mine last weekend. and didnt cut the rear at all. but i did the exact same thing you did. did driverside, dropped it, passenger side dropped it and so on. the front you just have to mess with them untill the are in the grooves like they are suppose to be. i would def take thme out and redo them now. mine when put on they didnt line up at the top right but once you spring compress them try and line them up then is the best way to do it. thats what i did at least. but if they are not lined up in the grooves right on top and bottom they wont sit right. and probolly why you are stting higher on one side then the other. i would def take them off and redo them agian.
