i need rear brake pads, i see tons of front. any good places i can order rear pads, any suggestions? oh yea, and i have drilled slotted rotors, and im not looking to spend loads on pads cause i dont race or anything.. im an automatic

i have heard they are good but have never used them personally. i have used satisfied ceramics and liked them a lot.

might want to talk to porterfield and see if they have anything available.. the R4-S (street) compound is excellent! i would highly recommend it.. it's a carbon kevlar based pad.. used these on my old civic.. excellent.. almost freightening stopping difference.. and excellent brake pedal feel (not mushy)

 

So, what's wrong with the OEM pads? For on the street—daily driving and spirited back road adventures—I've been pleased with'em. If you don't race, do you really need different pads? Or do just want to say you've got "cool, new" pads to go with your flashy "drilled slotted" rotors?

The only rear pad appilication I've found for stock grippers are OEM or The Tire Rack's "Satisfied" brand.

 

yea the carbon kevlar as far as i know aren't rally for anything but racing. they take longer to heat up and they actually cause longer braking distances when not up to temp. thats more of a track pad.
