Default DG Spec Coilovers in 2 flavors! (details inside)

Within the next few weeks, we will be offering only 10 sets of DG Spec coilovers in 2 flavors. The first being a street setup, which will be more aggressive than the "off the shelf" Progress ones and more aggressive than the Celebrity Challenge series ones too. These will be a tid bit watered down compared to what Gardner ran for a while in the car.

The second flavor is the race setup. This will be almost identical to what Gardner ran in his car. This will be for the hardcore track only owners.

More info, pics and specs to follow soon. Start saving your pennies.

DG-Spec Coilover Kit

--350/650 spring rates (standard)
--DG-Spec custom valving
--DG-Spec black custom bodies
--DG-Spec logos
--All hardware
--Valving done to spring rate can be increased 50-100 lbs per corner (Extra Charge)
--Front camber kit included. No need for rear as you can adjust up to -3 degrees

Customer price: ~$1,300

I would love to have these coils. I just wish I could afford it. Maybe money will come at me quick soon. But how long would the wait for these be? I know you said it would be faster cause progress said valving is easy. I just can't buy these and wait a month to receive them because I'll be going off to school.
Will this be split 5/5 on the 2 flavors or 10 sets overall but depends on what people buy or 10/10?

If I didn't already have a great coilover setup, I'd definitely consider these.

Spring rate specs please

I want some DG Spec front camber/caster plates!!!!

Looks good so far. Is the camber adjustments achieved by camber bolts?

I hope the race versions will have more spring up front

Also the progress dampners can always be sent back to have it increased or rebuilt by them correct?

Good price though for sure interested!

Camber adjustment will be achieved by camber bolts, correct.

Race versions will double in spring rates (if not more)

Yes, at an additional cost.

FYI, if you want that OS Diff, hit me up via PM. I will get it to ya discounted.

Paul, so race version will be really really stiff and driving on the streets will be very bad ?
How will street version behave on the track/autox ?

I maybe interested in the street version. Will these have a ride adjustment on them?

Ride height adjustable, yes. For 90% of people, the mild track setup will be all you ever need. The later full-race setup won't be very streetable at all...though technically of course you could drive it on the street.

Street edition will be fine for light track days and auto-x.

The track edition would be more optimal, but would be VERY unforgiving on the street Yev

Sorry I should've made the question more specific, will these have a ride quality adjustment on them?

Ride quality??? We are valving these shocks to be the best compromise of performance while having some compliance. It's all taken care of for you, the end user.

meaning that these will have no shock adjustment, just ride height adjustment.... kind of like tien basics just custom valved to fit the spring rate and about a billion times better, lol.

Guys...I know that not having the **** you can turn may seem like a detriment, but as a racer who has raced on various Progress setups on various cars, I can tell you you won't be disappointed. The resolution on many "adjustable" coilovers just isn't there, nor are the internals up to the task. Our valving isn't just matched to the spring, it takes into account a myriad of testing on how much you need in rebound and compression to really make the car work.

In a perfect world, for a racer who understands the intricacies of setup, adjustability is a great thing to have. In the real world though, for 99% of the population, it's entirely unnecessary. Indeed, chassis tuning is an area where a little bit of knowledge can be more dangerous than not having any at all.

An adjustable ARB out rear, ride height adjustments, tire pressures, and alignment will all allow enough tunability for even the seasoned club racer.
